Registered Veterinary Technician, Practice Manager
Jessica’s journey at HPVH began as a registered technician in March 2022. Her passion for veterinary medicine led her to the practice management role in February 2023. But her story doesn’t end there. A 2014 graduate of the veterinary technology program at the University of Guelph’s Ridgetown Campus, Jessica brings a wealth of knowledge. She’s also pursuing business and accounting studies part-time at Fanshawe College—a testament to her commitment to growth. Jessica’s roots trace back over 15 years when she started as an animal care attendant in a veterinary clinic during high school. As a registered vet tech (RVT), she has served in small animal general practice and emergency medicine. Beyond the clinic walls, Jessica’s heart belongs to her three young kids and two canine companions: Grogu, an almost 2-year-old Chihuahua, always ready for cuddles, and Nymphadora, the spirited 1-year-old Great Dane/Mastiff mix—a gentle giant by her side. Jessica’s days are a blend of compassion, business acumen, and wagging tails.

Originally hailing from the Caribbean, Dane’s childhood was steeped in hard work alongside his father and family. Those sun-drenched hours were dedicated to various agriculture jobs, where donkeys and mongoose occasionally tested his patience.
Despite the challenges, Dane discovered his true calling: veterinary medicine. His journey led him to Canada, where he has made a home for many years. When he’s not tending to four-legged patients, you’ll find him cheering on his kids during their football matches.
Dane’s story weaves resilience, compassion, and a love for both animals and family.
